Moving Identities

Europæisk residency-samarbejde
har fokus på diversitet i scenekunsten

Moving Identities is a Creative Europe funded 3-year residency programme which aims to create a more diverse, inclusive and sustainable platform for performing artists across Europe.

The programme offers a European network of residencies and organisations who wish to open a new world for performing artists to play within. The focus is European identities today, and the dream is to connect performing artists, venues, and organisations across borders in an inclusive and eco-friendly way.

The programme has venue partners in Denmark, Spain, Germany, Norway, Belgium and Latvia, as well as advisory partners/mentors, of which CKI is one.

As advisory partners in Moving Identities, CKI has been offering mentorships to the artists selected for the programme, sparring on topics such as audience development, artistic development, funding and networking.

The main goals of Moving Identities are:

  • Developing and promoting the diversity of the performing arts across Europe
  • Exchanging different European cultures, perspectives, and creative traditions
  • Supporting artists’ career progressions across Europe
  • Exploring and sharing sustainable artist mobility tools and greening of the performing arts

The Moving Identities residency programme is co-funded by Creative Europe and runs from March 2023 – October 2026. The programme culminates in a public seminar in Copenhagen in May 2026.
